Day Camp typcially gives girls the opportunity to experience “camp life and still go home at night.” Each Day Camp differs in the ages of girls included, but all of them include the opporutnity to enjoy outdoor adventures and making new friends. Both Girl Scouts and non-Girl Scouts are welcome. Girls sign up as individuals and are placed in temporary groups called units. Day Camp gives girls the opportunity to become acquainted with girls from other troops and other areas of the community. Day Camp days are full of exciting activities such as crafts, songs, games, nature and a whole lot more.
